'100% false': JCPS' top finance leader strikes back at Pollio's budget claims - The Courier-Journal

Jefferson County Public Schools' top financial leader stood firm in alleging board members and the public were intentionally left in the dark about the severity of the district's financial troubles, after former Superintendent Marty Pollio claimed JCPS' position is no more worrisome now than it was a few months ago.

Days after making a bombshell presentation in which he told Jefferson County Board of Education members that assets will have to be sold to make payroll next year, Chief Financial Officer Eddie Muns repeated in an interview with The Courier Journal that he was asked to revise financial reports under Pollio's administration and said he was not always included in conversations about making big purchases.
