HENRY COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — 18 employees in Henry County will soon be getting a pay raise.
The 18 county employees include correction officers, probate clerks revenue clerks, law enforcement clerks, road and bridge clerks, mapping clerks, and sanitation clerks.
Currently, these positions pay between $11 to $12 dollars an hour, but that wage will raise to between $13 to $14 dollars an hour.
8 workers will see their raises in the coming weeks, and the other 10 employees will get their raises when they finish their six-month probationary period.
