A drug rehabilitation center has agreed to a $19.8 million settlement of a False Claims Act case alleging it committed fraud against Medicaid and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Summit BHC New Jersey, doing business as Seabrook, was accused of submitting claims to the Community Care Program of Veterans Health Administration or “VHA” and New Jersey’s Medicaid program for short-term residential treatment and partial hospitalization care for which it was not properly licensed, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.
