McGlinchey Stafford, founded in New Orleans in 1974, is expanding to Tampa. The law firm, with more than 160 attorneys licensed in 34 states, has opened its 18th office nationwide and third office in Florida, adding to its presence in Jacksonville and Fort Lauderdale.

Managing Member Michael Ferachi said the expansion is driven by the firm’s approach to continue to attract talent across a national scale and add to the law firm’s footprint.

“We found some very talented attorneys to add to our team who happened to be located in Tampa. By opening this new office, we are excited to continue building our team to provide excellent legal services in Tampa and beyond.”

The Tampa office will counsel clients in financial services, insurance, real estate, labor and employment, and construction industries in matters related to litigation and preserving creditors’ rights. Will Grimsley, a past managing member of McGlinchey Stafford’s Jacksonville and Fort Lauderdale offices, will serve as Managing Member of the Tampa office.

“We are excited to expand McGlinchey’s presence in Florida with the opening of an office in Tampa,” said Grimsley. “We offer a broad foundation of litigation and transactional services across the firm’s footprint. The addition of the Tampa market positions the firm to build out those capabilities in Florida in areas such as corporate/real estate, construction, and maritime, to name a few.”
