A former worker at an Abbott Laboratories Inc. facility in Maine can’t pursue employment discrimination claims in federal court against Abbott, staffing agency Aerotek Inc., or its parent company Allegis Group Inc.
Jamaura Woods waived her right to sue when she electronically signed an arbitration agreement as a condition of her employment with Aerotek, which placed her at the Abbot facility, Judge Lance E. Walker of the US District Court for the District of Maine ruled Wednesday.
