Access Hospitality offers free sexual harassment training following Employment Rights Act - The Caterer

Operators can take the course for free until 4 December to keep up with employment law changes

Access Hospitality is offering its ‘Dealing with Sexual Harassment in Hospitality’ online course free until 4 December 2026.

Delivered through CPL Learning, the training aims to help businesses strengthen staff awareness and support their response to new legal requirements on harassment prevention.

The initiative follows stronger workplace harassment protections introduced on 30 October under the Employment Rights Act 2025. Employers must now take ‘all reasonable steps’ to prevent sexual harassment of their employees. The changes are particularly relevant to the hospitality sector, where employees regularly interact with guests and members of the public. Operators must consider where harassment could occur during these interactions and take appropriate steps to protect staff.

To help businesses respond, Access Hospitality is making its ‘Dealing with Sexual Harassment in Hospitality’ online course available for free to both existing customers and new users. Suitable for hospitality employees at all levels, the course explores sexual harassment in hospitality settings and supports greater understanding of inappropriate behaviour and workplace responsibilities.
