Altice USA Inc. and more than 50,000 employees are on track to settle their class action claims over a data breach that compromised their Social Security numbers and other personal information, after a Manhattan federal judge granted preliminary approval of the deal.
Neville McFarlane and the class claimed that the breach compromised the personally identifiable information of 52,846 current and former employees, including their names, employment information, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, and some driver’s license numbers.
