Amazon Contractor Fails to Block Wage Claim Class Arbitration - Bloomberg Law

B&L Delivery LLC waited too long to attempt to limit arbitration proceedings it initiated three years ago to drivers’ individual, not class, wage-and-hour claims.

The delivery firm, which contracts with Amazon to deliver packages to the online superstore’s customers, waived its right to have a federal judge weigh in on whether the arbitration agreement covered class claims, and its “delayed motion is pure gamesmanship,” the US District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky said.
