Amazon Escapes Most of Former Employee's Discrimination Claims - Bloomberg Law

Amazon.com Inc. had all of a former employee’s discrimination claims against it dismissed by a federal court, but a retaliation claim may be revived.

Saad Badrh wasn’t permitted to amend his complaint to add his former supervisor to the suit and saw his claims under California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act dismissed. But the US District Court for the Central District of California on Monday said that Badrh could amend his complaint to try and state a retaliation claim under the California Labor Code.
