American Airlines, Inc. and aircraft maintenance workers who alleged the airline subjected them to illegal genetic testing to cover its tracks after exposing them to toxic substances for decades asked the court to dismiss the case.

Neither party immediately responded to Bloomberg Law’s inquiries about the reason for their Oct. 28 stipulation of dismissal.

The proposed class led by workers Kevin Kniss, Ted Raburn, and Randy Swartwood previously told the US District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma that American exposed them to lead, hexavalent chromium, paint dust, and other toxins “knowingly and intentionally” from 1988 forward.
