Vasconcelos Advogados has strengthened its team with the appointment of Ana Santos Paiva as head of the employment law practice. She transits from MdME.
With experience in employment law, Ana Santos Paiva advises national and international employers on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters, covering the entire life cycle of the employment relationship. Her practice includes, among other areas, hiring and termination of employment contracts, internal policies, remuneration structures and benefits, health and safety at work, collective bargaining and social security matters.
She also has experience in employment litigation, representing clients before labour courts and competent authorities, as well as in conducting internal investigations, disciplinary proceedings, dismissals, administrative offence proceedings in employment matters and collective dismissal processes. In parallel, she develops and implements internal policies and codes of conduct aimed at preventing and addressing workplace harassment, and also delivers training sessions to ensure compliance with the latest developments in labour law.
