Anas Sarwar urged to win Holyrood power to set minimum wage - The Times

Anas Sarwar, the leader of Scottish Labour, must stand up to his party at Westminster to demand that employment law is devolved to Holyrood, the SNP has said.

Labour’s shadow Scottish secretary Ian Murray told the Daily Record that he does not support granting more powers to the Scottish parliament if Labour wins power at the next general election.

Sarwar has previously called for Scotland to be able to set its own minimum wage, arguing the move could be part of “phase two” of Sir Keir Starmer’s administration if he becomes prime minister.
