Andrew Tate's ex claims she was detained in Dubai after he filed a false police report against her - Face2Face Africa

Bri Stern, the ex-girlfriend of Andrew Tate, is claiming in a lawsuit that the controversial online influencer and accused rapist set her up in Dubai by filing a false police report against her, causing her to be detained in the city for six weeks.

Stern alleges that in June, Tate, 38, reported her to Dubai police, claiming that she took to social media to share false posts about him, TMZ reported. Since the United Arab Emirates has criminalized such actions, people being investigated for making false statements are prohibited from leaving the country.

Stern alleges that Tate’s actions were the “honeypot trap,” as she usually travels to Dubai because of her modeling career. She also said it was something that Tate, also a former professional kickboxer, was aware of. Stern, in the lawsuit, said that she arrived in Dubai for work on September 27, but she ultimately experienced an issue with Emirati authorities when she attempted to fly out on October 12.

Court documents allege that when Stern arrived at the airport, officials informed her that she had been banned from traveling out of the country because she was being investigated. She also said that the alleged false social media posts she made about Tate were shown to her by the police. But she claims those posts were falsified.
