DENISON, Texas (KTEN) — Workforce Solutions Texoma in Denison invited an attorney to go over employment law with employees who may have any issues in their workplace.
"It's a safe place where they can ask those questions, and they don't have to pay a fee for the attorney," said Kay Black, president of Texoma Human Resource Management Association. "They had to pay for lunch, but they didn't have to pay for the attorney. Just so that you can ask some questions, just because there's probably someone else in the room who wants to ask that same question."
Employment law attorney Caroline Harrison openly discussed any questions submitted by attendees in advance.
