Consob has published in its Legal Journals the minutes of the conference entitled “Independent Authorities, Anti-Corruption and Whistleblowing: Open Issues”, held on 14 October 2023. The conference focused on the prevention of corruption and on the legal institution of whistleblowing, introduced by Law No. 190 of 6 November 2012, with particular reference to the organisational structure of independent administrative authorities. The EU had already issued Directive (EU) No. 1937 of 23 October 2019 on the protection of Whistleblowers, and Italy transposed it with the Legislative Decree of 9 December 2022 (see also Issue no. 74 of May 2023).
