As DHS Flexibility for I-9 Verifications Comes to an End ... - PR Web

Starting on August 1st, 2023, all I-9s must, once again, be completed in person. This comes after The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced the end of the temporary flexibility that allowed for Section 2 of Form I-9 to be verified over video conference platforms.

Moreover, all I-9s which were completed virtually during this period, must now be re-done, in person, by August 30, 2023.
