Ramsey County commissioners agreed Tuesday to settle a federal lawsuit filed by an assistant county attorney who alleged she was retaliated against for being a whistleblower.
The county will pay Dana Mitchell’s attorneys $50,000 as part of the settlement.
Mitchell was the primary attorney who provided legal advice and representation to Ramsey County human resources and other county departments about employment issues.
