Axium Packaging Opens $227M Manufacturing Plant in Brampton - Samfiru Tumarkin LLP

Axium Packaging, a supplier of packaging solutions for consumer product companies, has opened a new 227,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Brampton, Ontario.

  • The site becomes Axium’s third location in the province and expands its operational capacity in Canada.
  • It will support the company’s production of plastic packaging using recycled materials and modern manufacturing technologies.

Project Overview

The Brampton facility is designed to enhance Axium Packaging’s manufacturing capabilities and supply chain efficiency within Canada and North America. The site features several types of molding technologies and integrates into the company’s broader enterprise system. Key features include:

  • Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM)
  • Extrusion Blow Molding (EBM)
  • Injection Molding (IM)
  • On-site finishing and decoration capabilities
  • 10 plastic resin silos, including 3 for post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic
  • Proximity to Toronto Pearson International Airport to streamline logistics
