A district judge didn’t properly analyze hand-balancing routines before partially banning them during a performing duo’s copyright suit against Cirque Du Soleil Nevada Newco Inc., the Ninth Circuit said.
Brothers Marco Paulo Rodrigues Lorador and Paulo Renato Rodrigues Lorador—known as the “Alexis Brothers"—also sued performers hired by Cirque du Soleil to replace them and Las Vegas casino Treasure Island LLC for ripping off their choreography.
