Belize will be added to the list of countries eligible to participate in seasonal work visa programs, the Department of Homeland Security said in a Federal Register notice released Thursday.
There were no other changes to the 87 countries previously eligible for the H-2A temporary agricultural visas and 88 countries eligible for the H-2B program for temporary non-farm workers. The addition of Belize will be effective Nov. 8 when the notice is formally published.
