Whistleblower who reported alleged toddler abuse at Capgemini Bengaluru daycare was fired, videos show severe mistreatment, five caregivers booked, daycare shut, probe underway.

A former employee who reportedly flagged the alleged abuse of toddlers at a daycare operating inside Capgemini’s Bengaluru campus was fired after informing the management.

The employee had earlier reported the mistreatment to the daycare supervisor but no action was taken. Instead, the whistleblower allegedly lost their job, according to an NDTV report citing Probation Officer Tilakesh Kumar.

Kumar also said officials had long suspected child abuse at the facility but lacked evidence until disturbing videos surfaced this week.

Official Claims Abuse Had Been Going On For Long

According to Kumar, the daycare had around 50 to 60 children enrolled, with nearly 15 to 20 attending every day.

“This has been happening for a long time," he was quoted as saying by the outlet, adding that authorities had earlier received indications of abuse but were unable to establish the allegations.

He said the situation changed after the complainant shared videos documenting the alleged abuse, prompting immediate action by the authorities.

Videos Showed Toddlers Allegedly Being Abused

The videos, which were later submitted to the Karnataka State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, allegedly show children as young as two years old being subjected to abuse.
