BGOV Bill Summary: HR 8373, Contraception Access - Bloomberg Law

A statutory right to obtain contraceptives and engage in contraception would be created by H.R. 8373.

The measure would define contraceptives as any device or medication used to prevent pregnancy or for other health needs, including all products approved by the Food and Drug Administration. Contraception would be defined as an action taken to prevent pregnancy, including the use of contraceptives and sterilization procedures.
