Bill Gates Says ‘Absurd’ Epstein-Related STI Claims Are ‘Completely False’ - Parade

On Friday, January 30, the U.S. Department of Justice released more than three million files connected to Epstein’s criminal investigations, per PEOPLE. Among them were draft emails Epstein allegedly wrote to himself that included unsubstantiated claims about Gates, 70, including assertions that the Microsoft co-founder contracted a sexually transmitted infection and attempted to conceal it from his then-wife, Melinda French Gates.

According to the outlet, one email dated July 18, 2013, with “Bill” listed as the subject, contained graphic allegations, including the claim that Gates sought antibiotics after contracting an STI from “Russian girls.” In response, a spokesperson for Gates issued a statement calling the accusations baseless. “These claims are absolutely absurd and completely false,” it read, adding that the emails reflect Epstein’s “frustration that he did not have an ongoing relationship with Gates and the lengths he would go to entrap and defame.”

The drafts appeared to be written as if they were intended for Boris Nikolic, a former adviser to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, though there is no indication the emails were ever sent or that Nikolic was aware of them. Nikolic resigned from the foundation in 2014.
