Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], August 17 (ANI): Rajasthan Minister Pratap Khachariyawas on Thursday slammed the BJP over its allegations on late Congress leader Rajesh Pilot flying the Indian Air Force aircraft which bombed the Mizoram on March 5, 1966, and said that BJP should issue an apology over the matter.
"BJP leaders do not have knowledge, so they tweet without any information. Amit Malviya's tweet regarding the late Rajesh Pilot is a sin. He along with the national leadership of BJP should apologise to the public and the Indian army as it is also an insult to them," Rajasthan Minister said.
He further stated that Rajesh Pilot was a brave pilot and is respected all over the country.
"It is also an insult to the entire country and an insult to the officers of the army. Rajesh Pilot was a brave pilot, he was respected all over the country. BJP leaders have become generators of lies and are spreading lies all over the country," he said.
Earlier, on August 13, BJP's IT Cell head Amit Malviya claimed Congress leaders Rajesh Pilot and Suresh Kalmadi were flying the IAF fighter, which bombed Aizawl on March 5, 1966.
