Blake Lively's rep breaks silence to say Justin Baldoni smear campaign claims against her are 'false' - Daily Mail

Blake Lively's publicist Leslie Sloane is denying spreading stories intended to damage Justin Baldoni's reputation amid the release of It Ends with Us.

Sloane issued a statement distancing herself from the stories detailing complaints about Baldoni's conduct on the set of the movie after Dailymail.com was first to report that the actor-director, 40, has a countersuit ready to be filed when the new year begins.

On Saturday, Sloane - who leads Vision PR, the company representing Lively, 37 - denied having planted stories intended to damage Baldoni's image amid friction between him and Lively during the filming of the romantic drama.

'It’s clear that Mr. Baldoni and his Wayfarer Associates are suggesting that I originated press stories about HR complaints on set, which is false,' Sloane told Deadline in a statement.

Sloane referred to details in the 80-page legal complaint filed by Lively December 20: 'Please read Ms. Lively’s Complaint and the Complaint filed by Jonesworks LLC and Stephanie Jones, which provides the details of the campaign against my client.'

Dailymail.com has reached out to Sloane and reps for Baldoni for comment on the developing story.
