OKLAHOMA CITY (KSWO) - A Broken Arrow dentist, Rocky Cullens, has agreed to pay more than $500,000 to the State of Oklahoma after allegedly filing false insurance claims.
According to the Attorney General’s office, which investigated the case, Cullens allegedly submitted false claims to SoonerCare from January 2021 to July 2024.
He was reportedly double-billing for general anesthesia and upcoding patient encounters.
Also, billing for tobacco cessation counseling for non-tobacco users.
The payment for the violation includes $354,000 he received for claims and $177,000 in penalties.
