Builder Services Group Sues Ex-Employees Over Alleged Pass ... - Law.com

Barnes & Thornburg filed a civil RICO lawsuit on Oct. 4 in Georgia Northern District Court on behalf of Builder Services Group. The suit takes aim at Alivia’s Contracting Services and other defendants for allegedly engaging in a scheme to defraud the plaintiff of thousands of dollars. According to the complaint, the defendants were former Builder Services employees who used a ‘pass-through’ scheme by setting up front companies so that they could acquire funds for their personal use. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 1:23-cv-04530, Builder Services Group, Inc. v. Riley.
