The heartbroken partner of the first British woman to die from a botched BBL bravely appeared on on Wednesday in a bid to warn others of the preventable heartbreak.

Alice Webb, 33, was a mum of five who died after having a non-surgical BBL in September - falling unwell shortly after the procedure.

Non-surgical procedures like BBLs and breast augmentations are currently unregulated because no incisions or general anaesthetic are required.

Because of this, there have been reports of them being carried out in unsanitary conditions, including in sheds and public toilets, by people without any relevant medical experience.

Describing the surgery as a game of 'Russian roulette,' Alice's partner Dane Knight said he did not even know that she was having the procedure until he received a call from a concerned loved one telling him to come to the hospital.

He told and : 'I feel it could have been prevented. The powers that be were made of these issues and the dangers around them well before this death.'

Dane said that Alice's death had a profound impact on her family and said: 'We're still navigating through those unknown waters now.'

The heartbroken partner described Alice as 'one of a kind' and praised her for being a 'great mother'.

Interestingly, she worked as an aesthetics practitioner herself and was praised for always going above and beyond for her clients.
