KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 12 — A business owner was today charged at the Sessions Court with submitting false documents to the Social Security Organisation (Socso) to claim hiring incentives under the Penjana Kerjaya Programme 2.0 amounting to RM714,180.00

RR Sinergi Enterprise business proprietor Muhammad Aliff Abdul Rashid claimed trial before Shah Alam Sessions Court judges Rozilah Salleh after he was charged with seven counts of allegedly submitting the Hiring Incentive Programme employee verification form to Socso agents between June and September 2021.

The seven counts were for false claims of RM106,040, RM120,440, RM58,760, RM136,840, RM207,400 and RM84,700 respectively.

Separately, business owner Muhammad Asyraf Omar was similarly charged with one count of allegedly submitting the Hiring Incentive Programme employee verification form through a third party in the same courtroom.

According to the charge sheet, Muhammad Asyraf was charged with making false claims to Socso amounting to RM42,800 as Bmine Enterprise manager on March 22, 2021.
