The California Autobody Association is hosting “Workplace Law and HR 2023 New Laws Update,” Dec. 7 at Craftsman Collision USA, 3250 E. Airport Way, Long Beach, CA 90806.
Cory J. King, the CAA’s employment counsel, will catch up members on the important employment laws they may have missed over the past few years and get them ready for new laws that will hit in 2023 and beyond.
The presentation will cover wage/hour compliance, retaliation/harassment/discrimination, testing for cannabis, COVID “sunset” statutes, leaves of absence, arbitration agreements and more.
The meeting is for business owners and senior management.
Only CAA members may attend. The price is $60 per person.
A meet and greet will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 and the meeting at 6:30.
