California City to Raise Minimum Wage to $15.75 Starting July 1 - Bloomberg Tax

The hourly minimum wage in Alameda, California, will rise to $15.75 from $15 effective July 1, according to the city’s minimum wage webpage on April 5.

The minimum wage applies to employees working at least two hours in the city per week, the city’s minimum wage code states.

This is the first year since the passage of the city’s 2018 Minimum Wage Ordinance that the city has adjusted the minimum wage rate based on changes to the consumer price index, according to the city’s minimum wage code.
