What’s Happening at Canadian Tire?

Canadian Tire has trimmed its corporate workforce as part of a restructuring.

“Changes are underway and we are altering various processes and teams to transform and modernize,” the retail giant said in a statement to CTV News.

“As a result, some corporate roles are expanding and others are being eliminated.”

Canadian Tire refused to disclose the exact number of positions affected.

According to LinkedIn, the company currently employs more than 22,000 people across the country.
