Age 57, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2026.
He is survived by his wife, Annamarie Wexler; his children, Alicia Wexler (21) and Sam Wexler (19); his mother, Jane Rappaport Green; and his brother, Eric Wexler.
Carl was a loving and caring husband who had been committed to his wife for 37 years. They met at the University of Delaware, where Carl worked tirelessly to put himself through college, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and History. While an undergraduate in college, Carl was actively involved in fraternity life. He was a part of the first pledge class of Sigma Chi Lambda, which became Sigma Chi at the University of Delaware. He was a big part of their success. After graduating, Carl’s sense of civic duty inspired him to pursue a law degree at Widener University School of Law.
Carl began his career working diligently as an attorney in private law offices, before he conducted administrative hearings for Maryland’s Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation and the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services involving labor, employment, and contractual topics. He also represented both individual and corporate clients regarding employment, business, and civil and general legal matters and litigated employment, contract, and other civil matters in front of Maryland, District of Columbia, and Delaware administrative tribunals, arbitrators, and courts.
