A Florida federal district court granted in part and denied in part, Sky Florida Services LLC’s motion for summary judgment on a female technician’s claims of sex discrimination and retaliation in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and the Florida Civil Rights Act alleging she was forced to quit after Sky Florida failed to properly discipline two male co-workers who allegedly sexually harassed her. The court found that her co-workers’ inappropriate touching, explicit text messages, and the company rehiring both of the employees after short terminations created intolerable conditions that would lead a reasonable person to resign. ...
