Walmart, Inc. is entitled to summary judgment on the wrongful discharge and breach of contract claims of a former employee in a Spearfish, S.D. store who complained about the unequal treatment of his female coworkers, a federal court in South Dakota ruled. He failed to show that retaliation was the reason for his termination, the court said, and his signed offer letter contained explicit language that his employment was at-will.
