Case: Wage & Hour/Fair Labor Standards Act (WDNC) - Bloomberg Law

A North Carolina federal district court granted in part and denied in part a class representative’s motion for a court-authorized notice to be issued under the Fair Labor Standards Act in a class and collective action against Stericycle Inc. The representative asserted claims under the FLSA, North Carolina wage and discrimination laws, and wrongful discharge. The court found that Stericycle Inc. should provide the names of arbitration agreement signatories to show that those individuals were subject to enforceable agreements.
