Case: Wage & Hour/FMLA Interference (D. Md.) - Bloomberg Law

A federal district court in Maryland granted summary judgment to Baltimore Gas and Electric, Exelon Corporation, Exelon Business Services Company LLC and their managers on the Family and Medical Leave Act interference claim of a terminated employee diagnosed with diabetes, as it’s undisputed that he successfully applied for FMLA leave several times while at BGE and was terminated for a legitimate nondiscriminatory reason—an honest belief that he misused his FMLA leave and submitted conflicting medical documentation.
