An Ohio federal court granted summary judgment to Progressive Parma Care Center, LLC on a fired activities director’s claim for interference in violation of the Family and Medical Leave Act, in which she alleged that she suffered a “serious health condition” entitling her to FMLA leave, and that the skilled nursing facility failed to give her the requisite FMLA notices and a period of FMLA leave.
