A federal district court in Nebraska granted summary judgment to Alegent Health-Bergan Mercy Health System on a discharged neonatal nurse practitioner’s claims that the hospital violated the Fair Labor Standards Act by forcing employees to use paid time off to meet a 40 hour work week, and that Alegent retaliated against her for reporting this allegedly illegal conduct.
