Case: Wage & Hour/Unpaid Wages (N.D. Ill.) - Bloomberg Law

A federal district court in Illinois denied Jadamo Corporation’s motion to dismiss a restaurant general manager’s claims for unpaid regular and overtime wages, minimum wage violations and retaliatory discharge under the Fair Labor Standards Act and state laws asserting he wasn’t paid for two months of work. His employer failed to develop its perfunctory argument that he was an exempt administrative or executive employee under the FLSA, the court ruled.
