Casino Workers Seek Final Nod for $2.1 Million Deal in Wage Suit - Bloomberg Law

Workers who say a Tropicana casino in Indiana violated wage-and-hour laws asked a federal judge to sign off on a $2.1 million deal ending the case.

The settlement represents more than 160% of the alleged unpaid wages for the approximately 370 Tropicana Evansville workers in the class and provides “more than make-whole relief” even after deducting attorneys’ fees, according to documents filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.
