U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said Monday that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard’s claim that a ship was struck by mines in the Strait of Hormuz was false, Ynet Global reported.
CENTCOM wrote on X that "Iran's Revolutionary Guard claims that a large tanker passing through the southern route of the Strait of Hormuz struck two mines and came to a complete stop. This is a lie. The facts: No ship was struck by mines in Hormuz. This is another attempt by the Revolutionary Guard to intimidate regional commercial shipping through disinformation."
