Employers can’t be left scratching their heads over basic obligations to staff

The widely opposed legislation takes effect at the beginning of next year as the sun sets on EU law in the UK, with worker rights a particular flashpoint. Stripping UK employment law of EU principles developed over the last half century is not only a conceptual conundrum, it will fundamentally destabilise employment law rights in the UK. Employers will be left scratching their heads over what action they need to take to fulfil their basic obligations to staff.
