[OSEN=Ha Su-jeong Reporter] One Hundred, the agency representing Chairman Cha Gawon, has released a statement addressing malicious defamation and the spread of false information ahead of MBC’s program 'PD Notebook'.
On the 1st, One Hundred stated, "We are acutely aware of the indiscriminate spread of malicious defamation, false information, insults, mockery, and other posts and malicious comments that constitute defamation related to Cha Gawon, our CEO, and our company." The agency added, "We are continuously monitoring illegal activities across various platforms, including online communities, portal sites, X (formerly Twitter), and YouTube, and are collecting evidence through our legal representatives."
It further emphasized, "Our legal representatives will take strong legal action against malicious commenters and those spreading false information. We will not tolerate any compromise regarding criminal acts that defame our company and its employees. We clearly state that we will take strict legal measures without any warnings, leniency, or settlements. We will do our utmost to overcome this situation steadfastly and restore normalcy to the company as quickly as possible."
