Position Description:
An employee in this class is responsible for the administration and directing of both Establishment and Enforcement aspects of the Child Support Program for Alexander County Department of Social Services. Duties involve planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating the program. Employee is directly responsible for all Interstate Cases, supervising the work of all Child Support Agent II’s and one Program Integrity Investigator I. This position also helps resolve concerns and establishes policies and procedures with the local judicial and law enforcement system and provides information to the community. Work is performed under direct supervision of the Economic Services Program Administrator.
Responsibilities:
• Plans work operations, reviews and disseminates policy, sets priorities and deadlines, establishes goals, determines staffing needs, and prepares justification for the Director.
• Plans coordination of workflow between agents, coordinates activities between clerks of court, district attorneys, judges, agency attorneys, and law enforcement personnel.
