Comedian Cho Sae-ho denied allegations linking him to organized crime groups, explaining, “While attending local events, I met various people and failed to handle all those connections maturely.”
On the 9th, Cho Sae-ho posted a lengthy statement on his Instagram, writing, “I sincerely apologize for disappointing many people due to recent events. I agonized over what to say to those who have long supported and cheered for me.”
He mentioned past experiences meeting numerous individuals while fulfilling various schedules, including local events, and stated, “As someone who stands before the public, I should have been more cautious in my relationships. I regret not handling those connections maturely when I was younger in heart than I am now. I deeply reflect on this.”
However, he drew a clear line regarding the organized crime allegations. Cho Sae-ho emphasized, “The suspicions raised due to those connections, as many have worried, are entirely untrue. I am aware that my appearance in the photos caused disappointment, but claims that I received money or gifts are false.”
