As news spread that broadcaster Cho Sae-ho, implicated in an organized crime group scandal, would make a comeback, the whistleblower who first raised the allegations announced additional revelations.
According to the entertainment industry on the 6th, A, who initially raised the allegations of Cho Sae-ho’s involvement with an organized crime group, recently wrote on their social media, “Cho Sae-ho is making a comeback? Because his acquaintance, a member of an organized crime group, fled overseas? Since the investigation can’t proceed, he’s suddenly making a comeback?” adding, “Alright, make your comeback. Then I’ll release a video of that acquaintance with his wife at their home.”
A stated, “I told him to reflect quietly and make a comeback, but now he wants to take me on. Fine,” and added, “Just acquaintances? If they’re just acquaintances, why introduce his wife before marriage and drink together at home?”
Earlier, A had claimed that Cho Sae-ho maintained a close relationship with an individual identified as a local organized crime figure and exchanged expensive gifts, alongside releasing related photos.
In response, Cho Sae-ho’s agency, A2Z Entertainment, announced on the 9th of last month that “Cho Sae-ho will step down from tvN’s *You Quiz on the Block* and KBS 2TV’s *1 Night 2 Days*,” adding, “Cho Sae-ho feels deep responsibility for the recent misunderstandings and rumors surrounding him.”
