Peitsch spent his entire private-practice career at CERHA HEMPEL. After studying law at the University of Vienna, he joined the firm as a junior lawyer and qualified as an Austrian attorney in 2017. He was appointed partner in February 2023 alongside Jakob Hartig and Christoph Reiter.
Peitsch has lectured in employment law at the FH Vienna of WKW and has regularly contributed to professional publications and media discussions on employment-law developments, particularly working-time issues. He has also built an international employment-law network through the Employment Law Alliance.
His departure comes at a time when the Austrian employment-law market is seeing both generational change within established practices and the emergence of new specialist structures.
