Chula and ACT Launch Thailand’s First “Corruption Watch: Instant Chat Whistleblower” | Newswise - Newswise

Newswise — Chulalongkorn University, in collaboration with the Anti-Corruption Organization of Thailand (ACT), has officially launched “Corruption Watch—Instant Chat Whistleblower,” a brand-new digital tool that allows the public to report suspected corruption anytime, anywhere, safely and anonymously. The platform was officially unveiled during the 35th “Chula the Impact” event on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. This launch marks a significant step forward for Thai society by empowering everyone to take part in promoting transparency.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siridej Sujiva stated, “Chulalongkorn University is committed to using academic knowledge and digital innovation to help solve social problems. The development of Corruption Watch creates a new space where people can easily and safely report suspicious activities, helping us foster a culture of transparency together.”

Dr. Mana Nimitmongkol, Chairman of ACT, added, “The heart of fighting corruption lies in giving the public a safe space to file complaints. When there’s someone listening and acting on it, people are more willing to step forward. Corruption Watch makes that a reality.”

Professor Dr. Torplus Yomnak, the lead researcher, explained that the Instant Chat Whistleblower was developed from a research project funded by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT).
