- Cincinnati officials are hoping to get millions of dollars through grants to fix roads and bridges from the $1.2 trillion infrastructure law. Morgan Sutter, director of grant administration, said the city and local partners are eligible to apply for about 80 grants, although the grants will be competitive and the applications are time consuming. Assistant City Manager Sheryl Long says the administration is dedicating a lot of resources to the infrastructure law. (WVXU)
- First National Bank, headquartered in Cincinnati, increased its minimum wage for all employees to $18 an hour. "Investing in our people is a winning strategy, and our updated compensation plan helps us to stand out as a highly desirable place to work," Archie Brown, president and CEO of First Financial Bank, said in a statement.
